Dutch website Focus Media published this reader photo of an Italian camera dealer ad showing the Nikon D600 — a camera that doesn’t officially exist yet. This new sighting comes after first photos of the entry-level full-frame camera leaked back in June.

The rumored specs for the camera include a 24.7MP full frame sensor, an ISO range of 100-6400, 38 autofocus points (with 9 of them cross points), 1080p HD video recording, 100% viewfinder coverage, and a 3.2-inch LCD screen.

All signs seem to point to the camera being announced at Photokina in Germany next month — possibly alongside an entry-level full frame competitor by Canon.

If you’re hoping that “entry level” means sub-$1000, you might be out of luck. What’s more likely is that the cameras are in the high $1,XXX range — still pricey for a DSLR, but significantly cheaper than the existing full frame DSLRs on the market.
