The EOS 70D from Canon is expected to start shipping by the “end of August,” according to BH. Canon announced the highly anticipated DSLR in July. It features a 20.2 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, DIGIC 5+ image processor, a Vari-angle Touch Screen 3.0-inch Clear View LCD monitor, and a Dual Pixel CMOS AF.
The EOS 70D is capable of taking well-detailed, clear imagery at 7 fps, and full HD 1080p video at 30, 24, and 25 fps as well as HD and SD video recording in multiple frame rates. It also features an ISO range of 100-1280, a 19-point all cross-type autofocus system and it is compatible with over 100 EF and EF-S lenses.
The feature packed EOS 70D with 18-135mm STM f/3.5-5.6 is $1,549 lens. If you didn’t already do so, you can still pre-order the DSLR from BH in hopes to catch the fist wave of shipments.
