Canon opens Canon EOS Ambassador Centre in Kuching

KUCHING: Canon Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd yesterday opened its first Canon EOS Ambassador Centre in Malaysia at Great Wall Photo here to deliver quality services and products.

The new centre promises enhanced services and support for Canon customers not only in the city but across the country.

With excellent photography background and an established outlet, Great Wall Photo will provide a wide range of EOS DSLR cameras and accessories to end users, said Canon Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd Kuching senior branch manager Ho Bak Kee.

“This is the first of Canon EOS Ambassador Centre in Malaysia. We aim at providing the best possible services to customers throughout the country.

“Towards this end, we set up this centre where customers could go when they need to see, feel and touch a full range of Canon products,” he said at the opening of the centre at Jalan Padungan here.

Ho said Canon have confidence in the centre to meet the needs of its customers given the latter’s history and expertise in the industry.

“The discussion on setting up of this centre began early this year. And now that it is open, we want the public to know about it and to drop by for Canon EOS cameras and accessories.”

He added that Canon would work closely with the centre for the launch of new products and accessories in the near future.

Established in 1958, Great Wall Photo specialises in wedding photography but was transformed into a professional camera shop three years ago.

The Canon EOS Ambassador Centre will be managed by experienced staff to cater to the needs all both amateurs and professionals.

Besides showcasing Canon’s latest professional imaging tools, the centre also serves as a platform to share knowledge by providing advice and hands-on experience with equipment available for trial.

The opening enabled photographers and invited guests to experience Canon’s flagship models and lenses such as EOS 1DX, ESO 5D Mark III and super telephoto lenses ranging from 300mm to 800mm.

Customers are entitled to exclusive Canon premium gifts for all their purchases during promotional period until Jan 2 next year.

The EOS Ambassador Centre opens between 10am and 7pm from Monday to Saturday.
