Julio Lucas

The winners of the seventh annual iPhone Photography Awards have

been revealed across seventeen different categories.

The grand prize winner was Julio Lucas from Florida, who took

home first prize with his shot of a man walking across the surface

of a glacier.

Fifty-three other photographers from 17 countries won awards for

their submissions under the headings: Animals, Architecture,

Children, Flowers, Food, Landscape, Lifestyle, Nature, News/Events,

Others, People, Seasons, Still Life, Sunset, Travel and Trees.

The three ‘Photographer of the Year’ winners will each receive

an iPad Air, and the first place winner in each category has won a

one-gram gold bar from what the organisers of the competition

describe as “the most recognisable private gold mint in the

world”.
