Amateur photographer wins Canon EOS 70D prize

Rosie Truasheim’s name was drawn out of a hat as part of Camera World’s recent Facebook, Twitter and ‘eshot’ marketing campaign.

Rosie, 26, from London, said she plans to use the EOS 70D on upcoming trips to Turkey and Japan.

She told Camera World: ‘As a keen photographer I was so excited to win the Canon EOS 70D.

‘I’ve owned the EOS 60D for the past four years and it’s been a great camera, but the EOS 70D completely blows it out of the water.

‘Upgrades like the touchscreen and Wi-Fi capabilities are handy but my favourite thing about the EOS 70D is the hugely improved autofocus; it’s so much smoother, quieter and quicker than the EOS 60D and, best of all, it works while videoing.

‘This means you can move the camera while filming and everything stays clear and perfectly in focus.

‘It makes it so much easier to get a really great video.’

Camera World runs shops in London and Chelmsford, Essex.
