NAB 2014: Canon has expanded its Cinema EOS range of glass with the launch of its first-ever servo cinema lens.
The CN7x17 KAS S has been built to support broadcast and handheld use with large sensor and 4K cameras.
The successor to the HJ17ex7.6B IRSE A/IASE A features a focal length of 17-120mm and supports 4K resolution shooting, with 7x magnification.
EF (CN7x17 KAS S /E1) and PL (CN7x17 KAS S /P1) mount variants will be available.
The HJ18ex7.6B IRSE /IASE has also been launched by the manufacturer.
The replacement for the HJ17ex7.6B IRSE A/IASE A has a 2/3â HDTV zoom lens with 7.6-137mm focal length and magnification to 18x.
The CN7x17 KAS S will be available from July from £22,500.
The HJ18ex7.6B IRSE /IASE will be available from June.
