US Law Firm Collecting D600 Sensor Dust Complaints for Possible Class Action ...

d600

A US law organisation is in a routine of collecting information from dissapoint Nikon D600 owners to presumably record a category movement lawsuit opposite a Japanese camera hulk over a D600?s widely-reported sensor dust/oil issues.

Initially reported by Nikon Rumors, it seems Lieff Cabraser Heimann Bernstein — a law organisation with offices in San Francisco, New York and Nashville — is now collecting complaints as they demeanour into filing a category movement lawsuit opposite Nikon.

The law organisation is accusing Nikon of doing a conditions feeble by revelation there was an issue, though claiming it usually caused problems “in singular cases.”

Nikon did not brand a means for a waste buildup on a D600 sensor, nor acknowledge, as many consumers have alleged, that this is a widespread problem with a camera. To discharge a neglected and distracting spots in their photos, D600 owners have had to regularly send a camera to use technicians for cleaning during good nuisance and cost.

You can see a sensor dust/oil problem in movement in this video by Toronto-based artist Kyle Clements:

They are also aledging that many returned D600s were never entirely bound before being sole as ‘refurbished’ to even some-more now-disgruntled users.

Whether or not this lawsuit goes anywhere is anybody’s guess. While Nikon did hoop a conditions feeble during first, and serve pissed off unfortunate users by releasing a minimally altered D610, a association has in many cases bound a emanate on cameras sent to use centers or even transposed poor systems altogether.
