Nikon Coolpix AW120 And S32 Cameras

Nikon has added two tough compact cameras to its Coolpix line-up.

The 16Mp Coolpix AW120 features a 5x optical zoom lens, is waterproof to 18m, shockproof to 2m and freeze-proof to -10°C. The easy to handle 13Mp Coolpix S32, designed for all the family, is dustproof, shockproof to 1.5m and waterproof to 10m. 

The Coolpix AW120 is perfect for tracking travel routes thanks to the built-in GPS, GLONASS, world maps and compass, plus Wi-Fi allows users to share images via smart devices. Shoot full HD video at 1080p/60i with optical zoom and autofocus with the options to shoot in slow and fast motion speeds from 15 to 240 fps.


The ultra-wide 24mm f/2.8 lens with 5x optical zoom gives optimal brightness and the camera’s back-illuminated 16 MP CMOS sensor ensures great performance and clear images even in low light conditions. The camera also features a large 7.5-cm/3.0-in 921k-dot OLED screen display with superior brightness and visibility for clear playback, even underwater or in direct sunlight.

The Coolpix S32 is designed to be a camera the whole family can use. With its bright and colourful menus that are easy to understand and a smoothly rounded ergonomic design make this the ideal camera for anyone from children to grandparents. It features dedicated one-touch buttons, fun filters and can shoot HD video.

The Nikon Coolpix AW120 is available in black, blue, camouflage and orange with an RRP of £329.99 while the Nikon Coolpix S32 is available in blue, pink, white and yellow with an RRP of £99.99. Both cameras will be in stores from 27 February 2014.
