DSLR Camera Deals at Walmart – More Cameras for Less from Sony, Canon ...

DSLR Camera Deals at Walmart - More Cameras for Less from Sony, Canon and NikonRecently, Sony announced two super zoom cameras, the Cybershot H400 and HX400V. Both cameras can be considered “pseudo-DSLR” cameras, as they come with DSLR-esque controls, and the former comes with a body reminiscent of the usual DSLR design. As such, both could make good purchases this spring for photography buffs looking for something that can get them started on the DSLR experience. But what if you’re actually looking for a DSLR camera, and not something that includes elements of DSLRs but is actually another type camera?

Though consumer electronics deals pages typically focus on Canon and Nikon, Walmart has some deals available for Sony DSLRs as well. Here’s a list of Walmart’s top DSLR specials, including cameras from the three aforementioned manufacturers included.

One camera worth a look at Walmart is the Sony a77 SLT-A77VM, which is offered in black, with specifications that include a 24.3-megapixel camera sensor, and a 18-135 millimeter lens bundled in. The shooter also comes with a 3-inch LCD display as another basic spec and BRAVIA Sync as a Sony exclusive feature. Pricing is now at $1,099 at Walmart, or $300.99 less than the regular list price of $1,399.99.

Another Sony camera is available for much less, and that’s the Sony Alpha NEX-3K, which includes a 14.2-megapixel sensor, an 18-55 millimeter lens, a 3-inch tiltable LCD, and support for 720/30p HD movies. This camera, despite its appearance, is a DSLR camera as well, and since it would require a maze of steps in order to view its sale price (but not membership or submission of personal information), we’ll save you the trouble and say it’s $399.99, instead of $599.99.

As far as Nikon DSLR cameras go, the D3100 comes with a 14.2-megapixel sensor, an 18-55 millimeter VR lens bundled in, and support for Full HD (1080p) video recording. Like the two cameras mentioned above, the camera comes with a 3-inch LCD display. Pricing is set at a very reasonable $388, or $41 less than the regular price of $429.

The Nikon D3200, on the other hand, offers something on the higher end of things, and costs $499.95, or $100 less than the usual list price of $599.95. Specs include a 24.2-megapixel sensor, a Nikkor 18-55 millimeter VR lens with 3x zoom, a 3-inch LCD screen, and 1080p video recording.

One of the more complete packages available on Walmart comes from Canon, whose EOS Rebel T3 bundle includes an 18-55 millimeter lens and a 75-300 millimeter lens, among other peripherals. The camera itself sports a 2.7-inch LCD screen, and a 12.2-megapixel sensor. Bundled together, the entire package will set you back $100 less, or $569.98 instead of $669.98. In addition, the Canon Rebel T3i can be purchased bundled in with 18-55 millimeter and 75-300 millimeter lenses.

The Rebel T3i itself comes with an 18-megapixel sensor and a 3-inch LCD screen, plus Canon’s EOS Full HD Movie Mode. Pricing is at $649, which saves you a decent $199, or 23 percent off the regular list price of $848.
