Canon announced new updates to a Cinema EOS cameras and XF array of camcorders, including a $500 ascent for a EOS C300 that will support continual autofocus around Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF complement on EF lenses. That upgrade, ideal for run-and-gun and ENG shooters, is scheduled to be accessible in May, and will need that shooters container adult their camera bodies and send them to a Canon use core for installation.Â
Other new facilities will be enabled in firmware downloads, including a continous recording duty on a EOS C100 that’s accessible now, as good as new additions to a in-camera marginal enlightenment improvement complement for specific lens models, that is designed to dramatically revoke vignetting on a C500, C300, and C100. A Jun 2014 firmware ascent is slated to supplement a CN-E35mm T1.5 L F Cinema primary lens and a EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM telephoto wizz lens to a 7 other CN-E Cinema Lenses and 14 EF-S lenses that are already enclosed in a system.
Also enabled in Jun will be support for Canon’s just-announced RC-V100 Remote Control, that allows users to control categorical camera functions and adjust settings including bearing and white balance. It’s scheduled to boat in Jun for a suggested sell cost of $2,999.
