Report: These Are Sony"s New 24- and 36-Megapixel Alpha Cameras

DigitalCameraInfo has reportedly gotten ahold of a specs and images of dual of Sony’s new Alpha digital cameras, a A7 and a A7R. We don’t know how they fire yet, though they certain demeanour nice.


The A7, graphic above, will presumably have 24 megapixels, and cost around $1700 for only a body. In a tip photo, it’s been matched adult with a 28-70 mm lens. Apparently with both a lens and a camera, you’re looking during a $2000 kit. Below is a A7R, that is a genuine beast; it’s supposed to have 36 megapixels, and it’ll reportedly run $2200 for only a body.


Additionally, these cameras will reportedly embody tiltable LCD screens on a back, Wi-Fi, and NFC. The A7 and a A7R are rumored to also have LAEA Full Frame A to E-mount adapters and work with NEX APS-C lenses as well.
