Canon EOS 70D Review, Price [UPDATE]: What Lenses Are The Best For This ...

Canon just came out with an extensive list of new lenses for the EOS 70D, one of their newest DSLR cameras.

This camera is great for people that are experienced in photography, but do not need the highest end camera on the market to satisfy their inner artist. As previously reported, the 70D also has manual-focus updates. Like the high-end 7D, the camera includes a touch-screen interface for Live View and video recording. It also gains Wi-Fi for wireless control and file transfer.

There are no radical changes to the outside design, but the camera’s operation is heightened due to these simple changes that Canon is implementing. Other updates include the Live View/Movie switch and record button, and a lock switch for the multi-controller.

The one thing that people complain about this camera, however, is the lack of a headphone jack-not ideal for someone who loves to shoot videos. However, everything else about it is actually pretty good.

“The Canon 70D is a more all-round multi-media device. For many people the improved video focusing and built-in wireless capabilities for sharing images will instantly make a compelling argument in favor of the 70D,” writes Gizmag columnist, Simon Crisp.

The full-time continuous autofocus system lives up to its promise as well, where it quickly and accurately uses the Dual Pixel CMOS AF operation. It also improves a bit in resolution with 20.2 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor from an 18 megapixel one.

The camera just became available for $1,199, and Camera Egg just came out with a list of the best lenses for this DSLR:
