TEACHING EXPERIENCE:



Recent experience in teaching variety of course modules is ESSENTIAL.



Modules to be taught in Photography Journalism:

  • Animation Techniques for Interactivity in Art and Design

  • Digital Media in Art and Design

  • Photographic Materials, Techniques and Technology

  • Project Design, Implementation and Evaluation

  • Critical Study in Art and Design

  • Professional Studies in Art and Design

  • Location Photography

  • Press Photography and Photo Journalism

  • Video Production

  • Advertising Photography

  • Digital Image Creation and Development

  • Contextual Studies for Creative Media Production

  • Research Techniques for Creative Media Production

  • Practical Skills for Journalism

  • Journalism Studies

  • Interview and Presentation Techniques for Television

  • News Journalism for Print

  • Page Design and Layout for Newspapers and Magazines

  • Law for Journalists

  • Project Design, Implementation and Evaluation

  • Special Subject Investigation for Creative Media Production

  • Career Development Journalism

  • Television News

  • Photojournalism

  • Feature Writing for Newspapers and Magazines

  • Writing for Specialist Publications

  • Convergent Journalism


ACADEMIC PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:



UK Master’s Degree or equivalent Professional/Industrial qualification and at least 5 years teaching experience



Administration Experience: At least 5 years experience in being responsible for running undergraduate postgraduate courses. Experience in dealing with national awarding bodies and external partnerships is an essential requirement from all prospective candidates. Recently retired persons with excellent and verifiable leadership are welcome to apply.



TECHNICAL SKILLS: Excellent MSO user , Use of Dark room, ADOBE Graphics Software, Digital Photography Photojournalism, Video editing, etc.



Remuneration:



£27-£35 per hour DQE
