New details of Sony DSC-QX100 and DSC-QX10 lens cameras leaked

Sony-DSC-QX100With Sony likely to announce new lens cameras at its press conference the IFA 2013 event on September 4, a commenter called PhoneArenaUser on PhoneArena has recently leaked some more details about Sony’s two lens camera models — the DSC-QX100 and the DSC-QX10.

The information leaked by PhoneArenaUser confirms some of the detailed which have already been provided by a leaked manual on Mac Rumors; and also includes some new details about the two lens cameras.

According to PhoneArenaUser, the QX100 and QX10 lenses are interchangeable lenses which the users can attach on their Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. The lenses will not only enable better camera controls, but will also unfold improved picture quality which can apparently challenge the picture quality of the more-powerful cameras.

Furthermore, the QX100 and QX10 lenses will feature a power button; a microphone; and a display panel which will show the users whether or not the card has been inserted, and inform them about the battery charge available. Both the lens cameras also have a zoom lever, shutter button, multifunctional jack, a reset button, a belt hook, and tripod. In addition, the QX100 also sports a ring control for changing the aperture of the lens.

In addition, PhoneArenaUser has also revealed that the 1-inch sensor and Zeiss lens of the QX100 is the same as that of Sony’s RX100MII camera; while the QX10 – like the Sony WX150 camera – has 1/2.3 inch 18-megapixel CMOS sensor and f/3,3-5.9 lens.
