DSLR Camera Deals on Amazon - Canon EOS Rebels on Discount through ...

DSLR Camera Deals on Amazon - Canon EOS Rebels on Discount through Retail GiantAmazon has always offered a treasure-trove of discounted electronics items, but instead of the usual recaps of smartphone and tablet deals, we shall take a look at Amazon’s lineup of digital cameras, including several Canon EOS Rebel DSLRs currently selling at lower prices.

The Canon EOS Rebel T3 12.2-megapixel DSLR camera with 18-55 millimeter IS II Lens and EOS HD Movie Mode is listed at a price of $359.99, though users have to click on the “Click for product details” link in order to see regular pricing; some manufacturers request that retailers do not list discounted prices on their deals pages.

Those who want to see Amazon’s discounted price, however, would have to check the item out and sign in to or create an Amazon account; this applies to all Canon cameras listed on this recap. The “More Buying Choices” option allows buyers to get this DSLR camera for as low as $300 (for a used device), with 145 offers currently listed.

Moving up a bit, the EOS Rebel T3i includes an 18-megapixel CMOS sensor, DIGIC 4 Imaging technology, and an 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens. The camera is listed at $469.99, with used and new versions selling for as low as $420. Of particular interest is the fact that this camera is listed as a “#1 Best Seller” in the Digital SLR Cameras category.

The EOS Rebel SL1, on the other hand, costs $539.99, and can be bought for a minimum of $495 for those who are willing to take a chance on a used item. Specifications of the latter DSLR include an 18-megapixel CMOS sensor, and an 18-55 millimeter IS STM Lens.

Even higher up on the scale is the EOS 60D, which costs $698.99 (lowest price for new and used cameras is $480), and includes an 18-megapixel sensor and 3-inch LCD display. The same item costs $899 if bundled in with an 18-135 mm f/3.5-5.6 IS UD Standard Zoom Lens, or as low as $724.99 for refurbished or used versions of the same bundle.

It’s not just Canon cameras selling on Amazon at a lower price, as the Sony A3000 Interchangeable Lens Digital 20.1-megapixel Camera is priced at $359 full-retail (only Amazon members can see the discounted price), with pricing as low as $257.49 if purchased used. Only 7 units remain on stock, so you’ll want to act quickly if this is the particular camera you want.

Those looking for really huge discounts on Sony DSLRs, however, would want to check out the Sony Alpha SLT-A77 Translucent Mirror DSLR Camera, which is priced a la carte (with no lenses bundled in) at $798, or almost half the original selling price of $1,399.

Also, the Sony SLT-A65V with Translucent Mirror Technology and 24.3-megapixel sensor is priced a la carte at $498, or a shade over $200 less than the regular price of $699.99.

Another option for potential buyers is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH3K, which comes with a 16.05-megapixel sensor and 3-inch OLED display. This is another standalone camera package with no lenses included, and would regularly cost $1,299. Unlike many of the cameras listed above, even non-members can view the discounted price, which is $999.99, a healthy $300 discount off the regular list price.
