A new report on Nikon Rumors suggests that the Nikkon 35mm f1.8G lens for FX format cameras will be coming to CES 2014, which will be held in Las Vegas in early January next year.
At the moment Nikon has the 35mm f/1.8G for its DX (APS-C) cameras and for its FX full frame system it has the 35mm f/1.4G. For the FX system however the closest thing so far was the 35mm f/2D and soon a much faster option will be available for the mount.
Well it is does seem like good lens and if you purchase it you are likely to use it for a while. Hopefully it will capture some sharp images.
The release date and the pricing for the lens is currently unknown and we expect Nikon to release more details on the same when it is unveiled at CES next year.
