High society hairdresser"s secret life as street photographer

By day Victor Friedman was a high multitude beautician given to Manhattan’s wealthy matrons. But divided from a salon patronised by a likes of Jackie Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe, Victor spent his time in New York City’s some-more down-at-heel locales posterior his passion for photography.


For some-more than 40 years, until his new retirement from a coiffure trade, 83-year-old Victor straddled these dual manifold worlds giving him a singular discernment into a high and a low of New York society, as good as a value trove of stories and images of a city that has mostly disappeared.
