Canon EOS 70D Mark II Rumors, Specs, Release: How Does It Compare To The ...

Canon has some high quality DSLR cameras on the market right now, where the EOS 70D and the 5D Mark II are some of the most popular devices. That being said, we took the time to look over the different cameras to compare:


CANON EOS 70D MARK II


As previously reported, According to Camera Egg, the Canon EOS 70D Mark II is expected to be announced in 2014, where it will be a high-end Flagship APS-C DSLR. The camera’s rumored specs include a 20.2 Megapixel APS-C, possible 12 fps although target is 10, limited video features, ISO 100-25600 and an improved Dual Pixel AF.

Canon Watch there is also a 24 Megapixel sensor that is in field-testing.


The camera is also weather-protected, carrying a single card slot, Wi-Fi GPS, video features and a great ISO performance.


The specs are far from complete, according to Canon Rumors, but they seem very plausible. The camera is set to release later in 2014, where it is expected to cost $2,199.



CANON EOS 5D MARK II


According to Digital Preview,the 5D Mark II, punches high in terms of both resolution and features with high capacity battery.


This device, according to BH, is a 21.1 megapixel camera with a full-frame sensor with a 3-inch high-resolution LCD display. It has the a live view mode with a 1080p movie mode and a broad ISO range (50-3200) with 3.9 fps burst mode.


There is also AF micro adjustment capabilities where up to 20 lenses may be used individually, and the processor is a DIGIC 4, with new menus and interface.


It is also HDMI-compatible, with WFT-E4 Wi-Fi capabilities as a new option.  


Currently the 5D Mark II costs $2,999.
